Roy Amos Spade, 64, of Lewistown passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born on March 16, 1954 in Monroe Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Charles Jr. and Jean Helen (Burd) Spade. On February 14, 2018 he married his surviving wife Peggy L. (Mitchell) Spade.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Cassandra Gill and her husband James III, of Mifflintown, Heather Dalton and her husband Michael, of Mifflin, a son; Roy Anthony Spade, of Lewistown, siblings, Lollie Batt and her husband James, Mexico, Stanley Spade of Harrisburg, Linda Bender and her husband Ron of Port Royal, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his four legged canine friend Babygirl.
He was a member of the Living Waters Christian Outreach, Three Springs.
Currently he was employed by Minium Auto Parts, Lewistown.
Roy loved the outdoors, being an avid fisherman, however, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown, with Pastor Dennis Hunsinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.
Viewing will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the funeral home.
