I worked with Barb for about 10 years at PA Dept Revenue' In Harrisburg and Juniata County in Liquid Fuels Tax office. We kept in touch after I left for several more years after that. Her artistic ability, the Hagar van, her love of books and antiquing, and many kindnesses (allowed me to stay at her place [she was with a girlfriend] during TMI) and fellowship when we attended HACC at the same time were never forgotten. She brought joy to many and was always a people person.

She was proud of her family and all who knew her should be proud of that too.

My sincere condolences and thanks to her family.

It has been my good fortune to have worked with Anita Colyer for many years at Penn State's World Campus, and to continue the friendship after I retired. Never have I encountered a person so full of delight and joy in the world, which very much includes her relationship, not only with her beloved sister Barbara, but her whole family. Thank you Anita, for sharing your beautiful stories and adventures. I am holding you and your family close in my heart and sending many blessings for comfort, peace, and love. May Barb find delight and joy in the Celestial worlds, and may you all feel her love surrounding you. ~In love and light, Jen Berghage

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I COULD SAY OUR LOSS, AS I HAD KNOWN BARBARA FOR A LONG TIME. SHE HELPED AND WENT OUT OF HER WAY FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE. I REMEMBER A CONCRETE CONTRACTOR WHO KNEW HER FATHER LEE. HE WOULD BRING HER NAME UP OFTEN, AND I WOULD TELL HIM WHENEVER I SAW HER. HE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT BARB'S DAD LEE, HOW HE WAS A HECK OF A BASEBALL PITCHER AND PLAYER FROM WAY BACK WHEN. I WILL MISS HER DEARLY AS WILL THE REST OF YOU. MAY GOD BLESS AND BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU AT THIS MOST DIFFICULT OF TIMES. REGARDS. DAVID LASSITER.
