Phyllis A. Graham, 87, of McAlisterville, went home to be with the Lord at 8:54 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville surrounded by her family.
Born on April 26, 1932 in McAlisterville, she is a daughter of the late Paul and Freda (Spade) Carwell.
On October 14, 1949, she married her surviving husband, Ralph J. Graham with whom she was blessed to share over 69 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her children, Steven Graham and his wife Kathie of McAlisterville, Kathie Drolsbaugh and her husband Carl of Honey Grove, and Amy Shertzer and her husband Mike of Mifflintown; nine grandchildren, Stefanie Kerstetter, Drue Richmond, Kylie Dunn, Adam Drolsbaugh, Gabe Drolsbaugh, Caleb Shertzer, Colton Shertzer, Hannah Shertzer, and Hailie Shertzer; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two brothers, and her faithful canine companion, Missy.
She was employed and retired as a Floor Manager after 42 years of service at Lyons Fashion in McAlisterville.
Phyllis was a member of the McAlisterville United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, visiting, socializing, entertaining, cooking, shopping, and attending her grandchildren’s events, but most of all, she cherished the time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neighbors, friends, and community.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Jennifer Heikes officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in McAlisterville.
A viewing will be held from 4-8 PM with the family present at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
