Obituary for Charles W. Bachman
Charles W. Bachman, 85, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:14 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on February 13, 1934 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., he is a son of the late Warren Franklin and Myrtle M. (Kepler) Bachman.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Krepps) Bachman of Lewistown and one brother, John S. Bachman and his wife Shirley of McAlisterville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Ruth (Bachman) Leppert, and one brother, David Edward Bachman.
Mr. Bachman was a 1952 graduate of Juniata Joint High School in Mifflintown and was employed and retired as a Painter with many different local businesses.
Charles attended the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren in Lewistown and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Spring Run Cemetery, 6712 Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown with Pastor Wes Stahl officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
