Obituary for Suzy A. Rexroth

Suzy A. Rexroth, 75, of Mifflintown, passed away at 5:16 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at her residence.
Born on April 12, 1947 in Chanceford Twp., York County, she is the daughter of the late Emory J. and Maude (Smeltzer) Emenheiser.
On February 24, 1968, she married her surviving husband, Joseph W. Rexroth, with whom she was blessed to share over 54 years of marriage before her passing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: one brother, Thomas Emenheiser of Thomasville; one sister in law, Zoe Rexroth of York Co.; two brothers in law, Dale Rexroth and his wife Linda of South Carolina and John Rexroth and his wife Doris of York County; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Gemmill and Nancy Emenheiser.
Mrs. Rexroth was a 1965 graduate of Red Lion High School, a graduate of the York Hospital Licensed Practical Nursing program and received her certificate in teaching from the Harrisburg Area Community College.
Suzy began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse; then worked in the office at Fannett Metal High School in Spring Run where she also served as a substitute teacher; and also was employed and worked alongside her husband in the family business, Old Commons Lawn and Home Service.
She will be remembered as a warm outgoing social woman who loved to converse with everyone.
All services and interment will be private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
