Obituary for Carol A. Filler (Zook)
Carol A. Filler, 61, of Mifflintown, passed away at 6:48 AM, Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on February 14, 1961 in Berks County, she is a daughter of the late Melvin and Emily Zook.
On July 4, 1995, she married her surviving husband, Charles A. Filler, Jr., with whom she was blessed to share over 27 years of marriage before her passing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles A. “Buddy” Filler III of Mifflintown and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Filler was a 1979 graduate of Juniata High School and was formerly employed as a Custodian with Empire Kosher, Inc. in Mifflintown.
She enjoyed working in the garden alongside her husband and being in the outdoors.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown. Interment will be private.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
