Obituary for Sally J. Ehrenzeller (Moore)



Sally J. Ehrenzeller, 73, of McAlisterville, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at her residence.

Born on August 23, 1949 in Lewistown, Mifflin, County, she is a daughter of the late James R. Sr. and Alverta S. (Lehman) Moore. On June 10, 1965, she married her late husband, Donald L. Ehrenzeller, with whom she was blessed to share nearly 44 years of marriage before his passing on May 9, 2009.

She is survived by her children, Penny K. Yetter and her husband Doug of Gladys, VA, Nancy M. Shetter of Liverpool, Dawna L. Murphy and her husband Christopher of Honey Grove, and Michael L. Ehrenzeller and his wife Jessica of McAlisterville; seven grandchildren, Richelle, Heather, Joshua, Ashton, Kayla, Dylan, and Morgan; ten great grandchildren, Haley, Ethan, Allie, Aria, Aiden, Chase, Mason, Colton, Riley, and Bridger; four siblings, James Moore, Jr. of East Salem, Donald Moore of McClure, Ethel Symmerman of East Salem, and John Moore of Richfield; and two grandpuppies, Baxter and Gronk.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Nevin Lehman and David Moore.

In earlier life, Sally was employed as a Seamstress at different local sewing factories and retired as a Caregiver with Skills of Central Pennsylvania and from Sheetz of Mifflintown.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her morning coffee with her son, Facebook games, and picnics.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Mindy Petrovcic officiating.. Interment will follow in the Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.

A closed casket visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Ehrenzeller’s memory can be made to 365 Hospice, 220 Regent Ct. Suite E2, State College, PA 16801.
