Mrs. Grening was a 1953 graduate of Bratton McVeytown Oliver High School and a graduate of Shippensburg University.

Beverly began her career working as a Child Welfare Worker in Huntingdon, after which she attended college and graduated with her Masters Degree in Special Education. She then embarked on a career as a teacher, beginning in Lewistown and had retired from the Juniata County School District. After her retirement, she occasionally served as a substitute teacher at different schools.

Her memberships included being a very active member and attending the Mexico United Presbyterian Church where she served as a former Sunday School Teacher; member of the former Compassionate Friends; volunteered with the literacy program at the Juniata County Library and at various Blood Banks and Meals on Wheels; member of the Central PA Nature Conservancy; member of the Walker Grange #786 in Mexico; and served as a former Girl Scout Leader in Lewistown.

She enjoyed gardening, attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s extra curricular activities, and traveling; however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Beverly was deeply committed to her family and was always there for them, no matter what. The family is grateful for all of the years they had with her. Rest peacefully in Heaven, Mom.
