Cheryl A. Karstetter, 61, of McAlisterville, passed away at 10:18 AM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
Born on January 16, 1958 in Lancaster, she is a daughter of the late Warren and Virgil (Thornburgh) Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Scott E. Karstetter, at home; three children, Loretta “Lori” Miller and her wife Julie Butterworth of Boiling Springs, Jeffrey Miller Jr. and his wife Tina of Reedsville, and Kristy Miller and her companion Anthony Pasco of McAlisterville; four siblings, Danny Smith and his wife Carolyn, Fran Smith, Peggy Delancey and her husband Donald, and Rusty Smith; and two cherished grandchildren, Tegan Miller and Landon Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Muriel Welsh and one brother, Roy Smith.
Cheryl was employed for over 20 years at the Mifflintown McDonald’s and was currently serving as a Manager. The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she cherished being a part of their activities.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Donna Christopher officiating.
Interment will be private.
There will be no viewing.
