Lewis D. “Bud” Stuck, Jr., 86, of Mifflintown, passed away at 1:20 PM on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lewistown.

Born on August 2, 1933 in Mexico, Juniata Co., he is a son of the late Lewis D. Sr, and Verna E. (Stydinger) Stuck.
On September 26, 1953, he was married to his late wife, D. Elaine “Laney” (Page) Stuck, with whom he was blessed to share more than 65 years of marriage before her passing on December 19, 2018.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth D. Stuck of Lewistown and Melissa E. Casey of Mifflintown; siblings, Robert L. Stuck and his wife Kay of Richfield, Richard W. Stuck and his wife Gloria of Mifflintown, and many generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son in law, Dennis L. Casey on August 28, 2019 and one sister, Sandra Bachman
He was a 1951 graduate of Juniata Joint High School in Mifflintown and proudly served our country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Stuck was employed and retired after over 40 years of service as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Hempt Brothers Construction in Camp Hill
Bud had attended the Ickesburg Church of God and enjoyed collecting bottles and spending time with his pets. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who provided for his family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 20, 2019 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with Pastor Dean Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at the New Church Hill Cemetery in Port Royal.
A closed casket visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
